Kraft says Macklemore's recent actions, onstage material and "broader history of antisemitic rhetoric and imagery" crossed a line, while stressing the decision does not diminish the suffering of innocent Palestinians. Kraft says he would welcome the opportunity to sit down with Macklemore, adding their ultimate goal should be "peace for all people, an end to suffering, and an end to all hate."
