JoJo is my Fav for this reason, as a Queer person when I watched for the first time only friends it was just like meet my perfect match because I felt so deeply immersed in the show, absolutely cinema

Jojo is my top director. I can’t think of a Jojo show I don’t like. He gives characters space to not just grow but to stumble then grow. He also has a record of pulling amazing performances from his casts. I can’t also help but note and applaud his live for the 90’s-2000’s. It’s such a reference to his style.

Love Jojo for this EXACT reason!! I actually hate the trend of “story about a guy who happens to be gay, but it’s not about his gayness” so Jojo having characters who acknowledge & speak like queer people is so *chefs kiss* for me! One thing tho - Jojo isn’t under gmmtv, he’s freelance and directs things outside of gmmtv too like YinWars current Police show. (AFAIK gmmtv doesn’t have any in-house directors. X&Aof who have FT producer jobs, do direct sometimes but thats on top of their actual desk jobs)
