Ours does this too!!!! We checked to make sure everything was working right too! It’s useless! And I feel like we have the exact same stove and microwave!!

& then in my apartment my fire alarm gets the SLIGHTEST waft of smoke it will blare like crazy! & we have 25+ ft ceilings so it’s a pain to turn off!!

My bf would say it’s a good steak if the fire alarm goes off 😂😂😭 we just moved into a bigger apt that has grills outside I am so happy to not be eating while my eyes burn from smoke 😂😂

You’d be better off installing bathroom style exhaust fans in your kitchen and venting them outside. The microwave range hood fans are TRASH.

Get yourself a carpenter and vent that microwave outside. All it’s doing right now is pulling air through its built in filter and shooting it right back into the house which does only so much. You will need to sacrifice the cabinet space above the microwave as the vent pipe will run through it
