John 3:19-20 tells us why people don’t believe!! It’s purely from the hatred of God and love for their SIN

It would help many folks to realize the difference between Christ and Christians. They are no where near the same, which is of course is why He came.

The motivation behind a belief and the truth value of that belief are separate things. This is an example of the genetic fallacy, physchoanalyzing the person istead of the claim. I could use the same argument with you, that you only believe in god because you're afraid of death and meaningless and that would not disprove your religious claims either. Just because someone does not like the church doesn't mean the epistemic questions are magically answered.

Yes , emotions are spiritual but emotions can make people too heavenly minded to be of no earthly good.

Some atheists don't believe because they can't convince themselves due to insufficient evidence, other atheists were church hurt but still actually believe, yet other atheists were brought up in a secular society and just don't care

This is just a passive aggressive attempt to act superior, by two people who are an example of why people are really atheists...because theists have weak arguments.

This may be the case for some atheists, maybe most, I don’t know. But my experience is not something that happened in church - it was church itself. Every church. Churches are not inclusive, not open to discussion, and speak in tongues - not the ones inspired by the Holy Spirit, the ones inspired by controlling men. If you’re not predisposed to blind faith, church won’t work for you. By the way, I’m not an atheist, but I had to leave church to find God.

Its emotional for atheists because most are angry about being lied to and indoctrinated as children. That the adults in the room taught them that magical thinking was real and preferred over critical thinking and skepticism.

I find this to be credible in many instances, at least credible enough I rarely engage in apologetics anymore. That is rarely the root issue. I think it is very indicative of the secular humanism of the culture. The irony being that as one over emphasizes humanism, they are over emphasizing their own experience right along with it. This in turn makes them so susceptible to their own weaknesses through confirmation bias. To be fair all people are susceptible to this, hence the need for humility before the Lord.
