girl have you ever been to new york? I’d venture to say that half of my pics/vids from our trips to nyc are just skyline, sunset, sun rise pics. the buildings & architecture are one of the most photogenic parts of the city

There was a documentary about firefighters from two Frenchmen and apparently there was a storm the day before so my guess is the French guys were filming the sky to show how beautiful it was after the storm. They were there and saw the first plane hit.

they weren't randomly filming the sky otherwise they'd be loads of videos of first place that there's isn't, there's like 1 or 2 obviously a fire on world Trade Center is going to cause people to film it

There was someone who was making a documentary and heard the first plane overhead and caught it going into the first tower…but I get what you are saying

MOST of the videos are from AFTER the first plane hit. After that every news station possible was recording the sky and all of the chaos. Most of the videos circulating, I remember from the day it happened.

The first known vid of the first tower getting hit was on accident because two brothers were doing an interview with the FDNY then they looked up and seen the unthinkable and I pretty sure the firefighters that they were doing an interview with died from the towers collapsing

Back then people had camcorders and video taped the city skyline. It's not that uncommon, my parents would literally video everything lol.

Most morning shows are filmed in New York. That morning VH1 went live and filmed everything. I remember watching and hearing people running from the debris and dust cloud. It was awful, still messes with me. I didn’t know whether I should go get my kids from school. We lived so close to the airport. I was so distraught. Seeing the buildings collapse. Sent me over the edge, went and got my kids and stayed home close to the tv for all updates.💯
