I think all content is being “over rewarded”. It’s not to take away from the fact that you do what you do, obviously people consume it. But it’s hard to take anything seriously knowing you make so much $ and get the recognition you do when the reality is that you don’t actually contribute to society in a productive way. We all know, viewers included, that social media consumption is bad for the brain. It’s cyclical because it’s addictive by systems, both for viewer and creator. Creators corner themselves in because it becomes their livelihood and viewers are hooked by nature of psychological addiction. Resentment builds by not being able to defeat from either perspective... so much so that now companies are profiting off of making products such as the brick (or spending time recouping on a ranch) to try to get off this thing.

I think it’s become so normal and easy for people to just type anything and hit send even about things they barely know information on. Social media is definitely going in a wrong & weird direction.

I think these FaceTime type of talks aids in these parasocial relationships. These people know so many details—which is endearing but at the same time brings on their opinions. If you enjoy posting keep doing that and don’t read the comments or shift the content. Eventually the Kennedy army will find a new person to harp on
