It should be loose and drizzleable, not a thick paste. Glaze: * 1 cup powdered sugar * 2–3 tbsp milk * 1 tbsp maple syrup * Tiny pinch of salt ⸻ 👩🏻‍🍳 Instructions 1. Prep the apples Peel and dice your apples into small pieces. Toss with the sugar, cinnamon, and flour. Set aside. 2. Make the cake batter Add the cake mix, eggs, oil, milk, vanilla, and cinnamon to a large bowl. Mix until smooth. 3. Add the apples 🍎 Gently fold the cinnamon-sugar apples directly into the cake batter. Don’t overmix. 4. Make the cinnamon swirl 🤎 Combine the brown sugar, cinnamon, and melted butter. You want it loose enough to drizzle. 5. Assemble Pour the apple cake batter into a greased and parchment-lined loaf pan. Drizzle the cinnamon swirl all over the top. Use a knife to swirl it down into the batter. 6. Bake Bake at 350°F until the center is completely baked through. Start checking around 45 minutes, but because of the fresh apples, it may take 55–65 minutes depending on your pan and oven. If the top is getting too brown before the center is done, loosely cover it with foil.
