I am an addict, I have done out-patient recovery for almost 3 years this November, I am not gonna lie since it's all I've ever done while still in active addiction, but I still struggle with it. I do good for a week or so then my dark side takes over & I'm back to day one again a week or two later. it's been this way for a while now, I just hope I can stick with it for 2 yrs again, I have had so many bad things happen to me as I was growing up which is why I chose drugs to escape from it. I honestly don't know which way my wind will blow, I just hope it's being in recovery & sticking to it longer than 2 yrs. 🙏🏽 Thank you for sharing your story, it's really helped me open up about mine!! Keep staying on the red road, & don't stop caring about the rest of us addicts!! ❤️🩹
