I agree absolutely! I can listen at 1.2. Call me crazy. Until I just found The Blacktongue Theif! I started the audiobook at work, listened to a few hours, got home and was so obsessed that I restarted the whole damed thing AT 1!!! YES! ONE! The book has changed my life; in fact Im typing this in the voice that the karkin narrator has stuck in my head!

With British narrators I'd usually have to slow it down as they tend to have a less even, more burst-and-pause cadence, but I haven't listened above 1.0x since getting on an anxiety med. I'm confirmed not to have ADHD, though, so don't take this for discouraging accomodations

I think it depends on the book. for chrysalis? youre out of your mind if you want to make it faster. but for mistborn? youd be crazy to keep it normal speed
