As a young coach I once had an older coach tell me that I was too hard on the kids and they weren’t going to get any better by Friday but I told him they’d be in better shape for the game game next week and the week after… he told me that I was still wrong but to this day I stand by what I said (can anyone tell me if I was in the wrong?)

we have a board rep at every practice for our 10u team. I got a little passionate at practice last night and told the O line to fire out if their stances and keep their shit low. the guy just shakes his head at me and says, " coach, language"
