So in their second statement, they admit that they should’ve removed her from the race which means she didn’t win. They need to strip her of the win and give it to the second place person. But that’s not even really valid either because how many people coming behind her, at minimum, paused? It took one of the rowers out of commission. Did that slow the race down for everybody else because they had one less rower? They did the wrong thing and there’s no way for them to make it better.

AND the type of race includes SITTING ON equipment that others behind you will need to use too! This is waaaaaaaay worse than sitting on sweaty equipment after someone! She should have been immediately disqualified for that!! That was NOT dedication!

I dnt think she should’ve been disqualified or even penalized because u can’t help the poops however it should’ve IMMEDIATELY been shut down so she could go get clean n they could clean the area she was in. That’s just disgusting n gross n unsanitary n didn’t need to be ignored like it didn’t happen. I get they’re trained to keep going no matter what but like come on. This is just not ok all around.
