So many of you had questions about saffron after my last video…the biggest one was how to actually prepare it, so here are the different ways I've seen it done. It really depends on your goal …grinding it for a cold extraction over ice preserves the delicate aroma best, grinding with warm water gives you the best all around extraction of color, flavor, and potency, or just steeping the whole threads if you're on the go. When I grind it, I add a little coarse salt to break the threads into a fine powder, which releases more of saffron's potency. The warm water grind is my favorite, but honestly there's no wrong way, it just depends on what you're going for #saffron #naturalremedies #moodboost #holisticwellness #ritual
