Bambino owners: the tablet + rubber disc method in this video doesn't apply to your machine. The base Breville Bambino (BES450) has one combined Clean & Descale cycle using descaling liquid/powder — not a tablet. It clears mineral buildup and flushes the group head in a single process. Machines like the Bambino Plus and Barista Express use a tablet + disc because they have a 3-way solenoid valve; the base Bambino doesn't. Triggered when the 2 Cup button flashes continuously — no disc or tablet needed, just your descaling solution.

I’m no coffee kind of sore but to me this looks like it isn’t cleaning the whole machine, it’s literally just cleaning the Poore spout. What cleans the tubing, and prevents mold?

The rubber part shouldn’t have a hole in it - this happened to one of mine and I reached out to Breville to get a new one. 😬 the idea is that it back flushes to flush out the part that pulls the shot. Hope this is helpful!

with the rubber in it, the water dont supposed to come out like that! the rubber is for back flush! impossible to come out on the normal way!
