Sometimes God’s direction doesn’t look big or dramatic… sometimes it looks like a tiny envelope I really didn’t feel like packing. 😂 I wasn’t prepared to use my little envelopes this month, and honestly, I thought I could skip them. But I felt like I needed to go ahead and pack them anyway. And later, I realized why. The larger envelopes I was using weren’t nearly as secure as I thought, and without those little envelopes tucked inside, some of the surprise pieces could have easily slipped right out in the mail. Such a tiny thing. Such a mundane detail. But it reminded me that God sees the things I don’t see yet. He knows what is coming before I ever get there. He knows the little details that seem completely insignificant to me, and He is able to direct my steps even in something as ordinary as packing mail. I think sometimes we’re waiting for God’s guidance in the BIG decisions while forgetting that He wants us to trust Him in the everyday ones too. The little nudge. The changed plan. The thing that doesn’t make sense yet. “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
