Random thought while making dinner… I never learned how to cook in moderation… or even eat in moderation. Growing up in a large household, and at times in foster care, food wasn’t always about nutrition. Sometimes it was about survival. As an adult, I’m still learning how to build a healthier relationship with food and with myself. We all pick up habits growing up. Some deserve to stay. Some deserve to be left behind.
