@ian.douglas.m: Grand Reserve at Hoffman Estates is officially taking shape at the former Menards site along Higgins Road in Barrington Square Town Center. The 7.2 acre redevelopment by Synergy Construction and Development will bring 335 luxury apartments across two buildings, including studio, one bedroom and two bedroom units. Plans also call for approximately 20,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor amenities, including a resort style pool, fitness center, pickleball, golf simulators, media rooms, shared workspaces and dog wash stations. The roughly $110 million development is eligible for up to $8 million in TIF funding generated through the project. The property had remained vacant for years after Menards closed in 2008. Current construction includes major site preparation, grading, underground work and early foundation activity. Grand Reserve is currently targeting an early 2027 arrival.
