Lets make one thing clear. The city of Crowell Tx gets its water exclusively from Greenbelt lake. The data centers in Texas pull straight from the trinity and ogallala aquifer’s and the levels are fine. It does not effect the city AT ALL! The drought is the reason for the low lake level, also, the boil water notice is from the citys water pipes/system being too old and lines have been breaking. just telling the real story. It is NOT the data centers.

Two things here: 1. Crowell is in a boil water notice because of HEAT, not lack of water. This summer has been so hot that the ground is not cooling and evaporating the required chlorination. The water is not contaminated, but is at risk of contamination because of the low chlorination levels. The boil order is a precaution. 2. Please do not platform Julie Waters. She continually spreads misinformation and uses fear to bring more traffic to her monetized page. Her fear mongering has even caused violent comments to arise against county officials who are just doing their best to keep citizens safe with very low funds.

that is some 3rd world country stuff. speaking as someone w/ dual citizenship that moved here from Mexico. that is how we had to do our water situation often. I even got and still have H Prylori to this day because of it.

Quanah has been in a boil order for almost 3 months and no one is helping us, and we get the same water as Crowell and Childress. I guess we are chopped liver. Crowell is not any worse than Quanah or Childress. We just don't have anyone crying on social media. The water has been bad for a long time. The crying is 10+ years too late. Something should have been done a long time ago.
