First grade teacher here …. As long as they have snack I’m happy and they’re happy. A parent sent in a hug box of chips and it was a party in my room. Grabbed a small bag of Doritos for me lol

Idk about the candy because our school don’t permit it, but with 15 minutes to eat a snack, plus having a picky eater, I’m sending chips and whatever else my kid will eat. I rather my child be fed and focused, than hungry and unfocused.
