a moment of grace would benefit all. as a citizen, you are absolved of the guilt of someone dying or deteriorating in your country because you partake of a system that values life, even more for a foreigner. as a person who is in emergency, there is assurance of care, and gratitude.

I don’t get the outrage for this. Yes it can be tone deaf for a foreigner to express relief not having to pay for an emergency rescue, but it’s not they deliberately triggered the rescue FOR content. I also went up Fuji and down without training, so I know how tough it can be. Foreigners do come to Singapore and they also do not have to pay for ambulance if it is life threatening. So what’s the deal here?
