@shannonslifeonabudget: 🥔 Good old mashed potatoes, y’all! Somebody asked me how I make my mashed potatoes, so let me show you. I peel my potatoes, wash them off, and quarter them. Bring them to a rolling boil, and cook about 10-15 minutes, or until they’re fork tender. Drain them well, then it’s time to make them good! 😋 🧈 1 stick butter 🥛 1 cup sour cream 🧂 Plenty of salt 🌶️ Plenty of black pepper Y’all, potatoes are BLAND! 😂 If you don’t put some zip and zing in them, they’re not gonna have any. Season those potatoes! Now if you don’t have sour cream it’s fine! Use milk, cream, cream cheese there’s really no rules to mashed potatoes except you must use a stick of butter! 🧈 😂 Then mash ’em up like your momma taught you. ❤️ Simple. Creamy.
