Runs your lights, cameras and locks from a box in your house, and its founders gave the whole thing away to a nonprofit. But sadly companies like these are rare, because Big Tech runs on the opposite model. What you read, what you buy, what you search all gets collected, and once it's collected it's theirs to sell access to, so companies built to hold nothing barely exist anymore.
