When your income is tied directly to your hours, there’s eventually a ceiling. Building a business, creating content and finding ways to generate income that weren’t purely based on hours worked changed the equation for me. 2. I focused on skills people actually pay for. Sales. I realised the “safe” path isn't the only path. I used to think the formula was simple: Study → get a good job → work your way up → make more money. But once I looked outside the traditional career path, I realised there were other opportunities: business, freelancing, content, personal branding and developing valuable skills. I also became much more intentional with money. Because making money and keeping money are two different skills. Earning more doesn't mean much if your lifestyle expenses grow just as quickly.
