Im a single mom of 2 sons (15 & 7). I had my first when I was 14 years old. I was raised by a single mom that went through tremendous amounts of loss, grief and addiction who was also raised by a single mom that went through the same. This runs through 3 generations, with Jesus I am being renewed, but it is so HARD and most days I feel completely LOST. Barely scraping by mentally, emotionally, physically, financially. This is the first time in my life that I’ve RANNN straight to Jesus every time it’s to hard, to easy, to happy, to sad… I just keep praying for a breakthrough and long lasting relief for my boys and I! I need community, I need a church that is accepting of who I am and where I come from. I won’t give up. I’ll keep running to Jesus no matter what happens, he is the only savior in all of this.

For anyone willing please lift me (Amber) up in prayer. I have been a functional addict for more than 10 years. I have so much discernment within me. I know Christ, I know smoking is holding me back from my true purpose and from God’s face but I just can’t overcome. Please pray that I seek God more authentically that I am able to feel and hear him when he is near. Pray that I draw near to the Lord and stop running. Please pray that I learn to seek relation with God I want to call him my father I want my own intimate relationship with him. I want to show my children how to fully trust God I want to lead my children to righteousness and not damnation. I want them to stop seeing an angry woman when they see me I want to be joyful.

I want to have more faith and belief in God, feel His presence more and more. Not just when I read the word, but feel Him every time I pray. I want to feel like His son, like royalty and in His presence constantly as I approach the throne. That when I speak His word back to Him, that I feel His grace and mercy and power and not feel ignored or forgotten. To have faith and grace and rest in His presence. I pray that He answers me when it comes to the desires of my heart and that they align with His will.

I have been praying for something for so long with no answers, he was silent the whole time, instead everything got worse both for what I asked for and my situations, I put my trust and faith for so long but I think it’s time to give up, I’ve drawn closer to him but nothing is happening, he has not said no, yes, or anything, I kept my faith and trust strong and changed for the better yet nothing works and what I’ve been praying for has not been answered, it’s been so long now

I’ve moved out of our home since and began to heal during this season of separation…i always felt like i was the only one taking our marriage to the alter. i am learning now that we were unequally yolked. ❤️🩹
