@chriskunadrive: What happened to brotherhood in trucking? Was there more respect between truck drivers back in the day? While visiting Planet Group in Melrose Park, Illinois, I met John, one of their local drivers. He’s been around trucking almost his entire life, riding with his father, grandfather and uncles long before he had his own CDL. He remembers a different culture on the road. See another truck trying to merge? Let him in. See a driver broken down on the shoulder? Stop and see if he needs help. John believes some of that respect between drivers has disappeared over the years. Maybe trucking has changed. Maybe the roads have changed. Or maybe every generation looks at the industry differently. For the drivers who have been doing this for 20, 30 or 40+ years: has the brotherhood in trucking really changed? #Trucking #TruckDriver #TruckingLife #ChicagoTrucking #CKDrive
