I had a 2 month hospital stay last year and didn’t start really loosing my hair until everything settled down and I came home from the hospital. It was absolutely coming out in clumps. It lasted a few months, but it did stop!

Anesthesia also contributes to it! And with 9 surgeries!

Nioxin shampoo restored my hair. It’s expensive but I don’t even care.

could also be that your body is just using a lot of energy to heal the leg and your hair is not being made a priority.

This happened to me after I got Covid. I ended up shaving it off and rocking a Mohawk while it grew back.

It’s completely normal. All your nutrients is going to the parts of your body that need to heal you just gotta give it time.

Its no different than when you're pregnant. All of your nutrients go towards growing the baby, then birth and the hormone changes are traumatic. Surgery is the same. It will grow back!

The same thing happened to me after I was in a grade 3 coma. I use Rosemary and rice water spray which has helped so much!

Anesthesia along with the stress on the body makes my hair fall out. Every time.

I lost so much hair after my knee surgery. Surgery April 2 2025 and it was falling out in clumps until around Oct. I take creatine and collagen now. Not sure if that helps but it won’t hurt.
