🚨 TRUE CRIME STORY TIME - Nicole Jones 🚨 A mother murdered by her own son and his girlfriend… and her body was never found. Nicole Jones, 53, lived in Sylvania Township, Ohio, near Toledo. In April 2023, Nicole disappeared — and what investigators uncovered would turn into one of the most disturbing murder cases in the area. Nicole’s son, Jonathon Jones, was involved with Kaitlyn Coones, who was 17 at the time. Prosecutors alleged that Kaitlyn believed Nicole was preventing the two from being together. According to investigators, Kaitlyn gave Jonathon an ultimatum: kill his own mother within five hours. When he didn’t, prosecutors said Kaitlyn attacked Nicole herself, strangling her and striking her with a rock. After Nicole’s death, investigators said Jonathon and Kaitlyn attempted to conceal what happened and dispose of Nicole’s body. The pair then fled to Mexico, where they were arrested in May 2023 following an international manhunt. Nicole’s remains have never been recovered. In June 2024, both Jonathon Jones and Kaitlyn Coones pleaded no contest to aggravated murder and abuse of a corpse. They were each sentenced to life in prison, with the possibility of parole after 25 years. But the biggest question remains: Where is Nicole Jones?
