Robert Urbina :
I believe that all human beings are in life to learn. Every experience is a challenge, every challenge leaves a lesson, and the pain you go through makes you growโspiritually, emotionally, and mentally.
I think that sometimes the rhythm of life comes like a wave from the sea, too big to surf or perhaps too far ahead, capable of pulling you under 50 feet and making you disappear. Sometimes you don't even see it coming. Maybe at the last second you have to ride it out, and suddenly you were able to handle it and surf it, or maybe you weren't.
All the experts could argue that you didn't dedicate enough time to prepare; others could say that your mental and emotional state wasn't the best that day, or perhaps that the board you were using wasn't long enough.
No experience should be considered useless. Every human experience is a massive building block that grants you new wisdom to face life, to grow as a person, to develop as a human being.
Who decides when enough is enough? Sometimes people simply interfere in your life and want to live it for you, even close family members, trying to make decisions for you, even though they've already lived their own lives with their mistakes and successes. But you're the one who gets hit by the storm, and due to a lack of your own experience, you cling to the experiences of others, which end up damaging your own.
On the other hand, sometimes, in a very complex work environment, a dynamic of divergence and misunderstanding develops when different goals or conflicting interests arise, and it's simply impossible to continue. When there's no shared understanding and a desire to force things, chaos, drama, and confrontation erupt.
There are also those who live a public lie to feign a relationship; others fit together so well, possessing adequate emotional tools or complementing each other so perfectly, that they grow old together and live a lifetime.
Anyone can have an opinion and criticize the members of the couple, but that's perhaps just an absurd oversimplification of reality.
All of them deserve, regardless of the mistakes they made, to continue striving to build happiness.
