I think his humility and open-mindedness is what draws me to him. He’s smart, but not arrogant. Mitya is incredibly intelligent, yet he doesn’t discount the ideas of everyday people. Despite being a genius, he isn’t a know-it-all or a snob. In a lot of ways, what separates him from your average person isn’t so much his raw intelligence. It’s his ability to think flexibly and see through biases to come to a rational conclusion. For example, during the murder mystery in the theater, Mitya has several hypotheses behind the mechanism of the killings, however, he isn’t married to any one solution. He hears out the opinions of everyone else there and earnestly considers the merits of where they’re coming from. As a scientist, I love that his curiosity alone is often what drives him. Walking out into the snow to test the hypothesis he’s a spirit walking the ley lines sounds like a suicidal plan, but for an inquisitive mind like Mitya he won’t be satisfied taking the safe route and not testing his theory.

mitya is genuinely one of the most interesting characters genshin has put out in a while imo. the start of the archon quest he's so unassuming but the quick yet natural shift in focus to him throughout is honestly some of the best writing i've seen in the game!

мне тоже очень нравилось то, что он получил много признания после сюжета 7.0, хотя с тизера на него не особо обращали внимания. я его любила с первого мелька, ждала очень и о боже, просто так счастлива. всем богам наверное молилась чтобы он был 5*. Да и вообще мне так нравится вся эта проделанная работа самими хойо и ва, голос у вас приятный, ему безумно подходит, и сам персонаж очень интересный, и вот эта вся возможность с кем-то разделить это. я даже не знаю как могу описать всю эту благодарность, но я думаю я донесла то, что хотела :)

You did an amazing job with mitya, I’ve been playing this game for 5 years, soon it will be 6 years, I only loved the character named “xiao” for the longest time but you managed to bring mitya to life and made him full of character that I absolutely fell in love with the game again, we thank you so much for voicing him
