Several streets and low-lying areas were flooded, making the morning commute difficult and causing traffic jams across parts of the city. Some areas received more than 200 mm of rain, with Yên Sở recording around 270 mm by early this morning. Heavy rain and thunderstorms may continue today, so if you’re currently in Hanoi, take your time getting around, avoid deeper flooded areas, and keep an eye on local weather and traffic updates.
