One core principles of Urban Planning is that "U don't sell the Lungs of d City" We need good roads in d City, good Drainage to breath waters and Open Squres to breath People. To me City Square isn't just grass but a Heat Island cooler, Emergency Assembly Point n a Flood buffer n its Economic value is higher as a public space than a mall. My simple advise is the Govt should never Alienate the city's Monument Status but revitalize in place PPP, d Rwanda Style Imbugu City walk n Kenya style d Uhuru Park. They upgraded but never sold it off!
