@planetraveltok: The Airbus A321neo LR (Long Range) is equipped with additional center fuel tanks that significantly increase its fuel capacity compared with the standard A321neo. These tanks are installed in the aircraft’s lower fuselage and allow the A321LR to carry substantially more fuel without requiring external fuel tanks or major changes to the aircraft’s overall shape. The additional fuel capacity enables the A321LR to fly routes of up to approximately 4,000 nautical miles (7,400 km), depending on the configuration, payload and operating conditions. This extended range allows airlines to operate long-haul routes with a narrow-body aircraft, making the A321LR particularly useful for connecting smaller cities directly with distant destinations. The extra fuel tanks are optional, meaning not every A321neo is fitted with them.
