The problem of African leaders/Africa is not the lack of intelligence. Every group of humans is intelligent. The problem is a problem of character and thinking. A problem of thinking does not imply lack of intelligence. You choose your thinking. There is a plethora of factors/reasons for our backwardness in development, despite the high level of raw materials and intellectual resources that abound in Africa. I will focus on character and thinking. To make it easy to see what I want to say. An analysis of Ibrahim Traoré's governance reveals the following: 1. Character: Ibrahim Traoré has a strong character. He did not take over power to pursue personal ambitions in his life. He is disciplined. He didn't just go to school for the knowledge to have a certificate but to digest knowledge and to make it an integral part of his thinking. He is de-tribalized and refuses religious supremacy by rejecting Sharia law. 2. IDEOLOGY: Traoré is ideological. His ideology derives from a complete knowledge of his African history. From this he has synthesized deep logical, analytical, and rational thinking and understanding. a. Traoré understands that the same nations that have enslaved and neo-colonized Africans up to 2026 can never let Africa develop. What he has done is to sever ties with them and refuse to take orders from them, as a continued bondage to them holds Africa down in slavery. b. He freed Burkina Faso's resources and government from French control to gain the freedom required to build the country. c. Traoré came up with strategies to develop Burkina Faso—free education, health care, skill acquisition, and scholarships. He has sought TECHNOLOGIES to build industries and factories to utilize Burkina Faso's natural resources to produce products for export and internal distribution or commercialization. d. He abandoned complete relations with nations that were involved in the slave trade in Africa and the colonization of Africa. e. He is introducing an ideological infusion in the school curriculum and the larger society. Citizens of any nation must know how they should be reasoning or thinking. Look at the other leaders outside the 3 Sahel States; no independence.
