mandatory retirement age of 55 from all elected positions. It takes ~20 years for the effects of Congressional policies to be fully felt. No person should ever be making decisions *knowing* they will never feel the effect of that choice.

What other professionals would we accept doing this? Doctor comes in your room pre spinal surgery. The surgeon is in a wheelchair, had a stroke and can’t even talk…….would you let him do the surgery?
