My daughter and I have always been like this, im her safe person. Is this just weird to people because he’s the dad? She clearly feels safe with her dad. My dad never cuddled me or hugged me…probably would’ve been nice to have a dad who actually shows affection to their child.

My question is whyyyy do people feel the need to do this? There’s 0 need to kiss your child on the lips in order to have a loving and affectionate relationship. It’s entirely unnecessary, as someone who was taught to do this as a young child.

ummm people chill I kissed my kids on the lips until they felt odd about it. I respectfully stoped. also this is just a lil girl loving her dad. he is not being inappropriate. I never had a dad and I am aware his is just a loving home environment. I tell my kids I love them 100000000 times a day... I hug and kiss on the check any chance I get. chill please. ❤️

our generation finds it strange because of our up bringing,in my case dad never should affection and my husband didn't have a dad so.🤷 we are breaking the gen truama so we hug and kis our kids they would lip kiss us when they were smaller our youngest just stopped lip kissing us shes 6.
