@perfectly.imperfect_81: I think I’m done saying yes. Every time I finally decide to give somebody a chance, the second they realize “yes” doesn’t guarantee they’re getting laid, suddenly I’m blocked. 😂 At this point, what exactly am I trying for? I want somebody who actually wants to know me, spend time with me, laugh with me, make memories with me—not somebody who thinks buying me dinner is a damn down payment on my body. If having boundaries makes you disappear, thank you for saving me the time. I’m not lowering my standards just because I’m lonely. I’d rather learn to enjoy my own company than keep saying yes to people who only stick around when they think they’re getting something from me. Access to me is not guaranteed. Effort matters.
