@sharehappinesswithorphan: I grew up surrounded by orphans whose lives were marked by loss, yet also by remarkable resilience. In my own story, I was carried forward by the selfless love of a pastor who chose to care for me when I had little to offer in return. That act of kindness did not just meet my needs it planted a seed of purpose in my heart. In 2018, I prayed a simple but life changing prayer: “God, use my life to make a difference.” Through that prayer, I learned a truth that now guides everything I do we rise by lifting others. Today, as a caretaker with Fortune Ministry Uganda, I walk daily with children who have known abandonment, sickness, and hardship far beyond their age. Yet, in their eyes, I see hope. In their smiles, I see healing. Caring for them has transformed me as much as it has protected them. This is not just charity it is a calling. Every child we care for carries a story that could change with the right support. Sometimes, what stands between despair and hope is as simple and as powerful as timely medical care, food, education, or mobility support. When these needs are met, lives begin to change.
