Loki from Blue Lock is NOT as good as you think. I’m tired of seeing people constantly overrate him and act like he’s some untouchable player who automatically scales above everyone just because of his name and reputation. Every time Loki gets brought up, people immediately put him at the top of every ranking and treat him like there’s no debate whatsoever, when in reality the discussion is nowhere near that simple. Loki is obviously an incredible player, but the way the community talks about him makes it seem like he’s already leagues above every other young player in the series. People see one impressive showing and suddenly Loki is being used to upscale every other argument imaginable. The hype surrounding him has gotten completely out of control, and at this point people are scaling the idea of Loki more than they are actually scaling Loki himself. There’s a huge difference between being an elite player, being one of the most talented players, and being the undisputed strongest player in his generation. Loki gets treated like the last one way too often. If you actually want to argue Loki at the highest level, you need to separate the hype, reputation, statements, potential, and actual performance instead of putting everything into one giant argument.
