@amir4.06: Italian fans truly know how to protest… For the past 6 months, Lazio fans have been boycotting the stadium. 🇮🇹😭 They’re not angry at the players or coach… they’re angry at ownership, and they want to hit Lotito where it hurts: his pocket. 💰 The boycott began back in January, with fans refusing to attend home games as part of their ongoing protest against Claudio Lotito’s 22 years in charge. Last weekend they: 🛵 Rode their scooters alongside the team bus to the stadium ❌ Arrived at the Olimpico… and refused to go inside 🍻 Watched the match from local pubs instead And despite the boycott, they’ve made it clear that their support for the team hasn’t disappeared. Lazio fans have continued travelling to away games, showing that their anger is aimed at the ownership, not the players. And they’ve said they’re willing to return to the Olimpico on ONE condition: Lotito publicly apologizes for everything he’s gotten wrong over the last 22 years. 😅 Elite level protest. 👏
