Even in JB, when I was looking for a studio unit to rent, some owners asked for my payslip, which is P&C and honestly I was so pissed. I had to start looking almost a month in advance because it can be really difficult for Indians to get a room or house for rent. Sadly, I think this is partly because of our people who have spoiled it for others by damaging houses or not paying rent. But eventually, one kind lady trusted me and rented her unit to me. The hustle is definitely real, I got rejected a few times before finally getting a place. So don’t give up, keep looking and you’ll get one. 🤞🏼

True. Our ppl are doing the same to us. Moving fwd we must rent by doing proper agreement, change TNB name and upfront money for maintenance cost coz ended the owner have to cleanup all the mess when they move out.
