@thesunnahguy: I think one of the biggest reasons people feel behind today is because we have access to far too many lives. You wake up and within minutes... Someone bought a house. Someone got married. Someone made more money. Someone transformed their body. Someone your age seems to have figured everything out. And slowly, other people’s highlights become the standard you measure your own life against. You stop appreciating your progress because somebody is moving faster. You stop appreciating what Allah gave you because somebody appears to have more. And you start feeling behind in a race you were never supposed to be running. Your timeline was never supposed to look like theirs. Allah has written a completely different journey for you. Spend less time watching what everybody else is building and more time building your own life. Your deen. Your health. Your family. Your finances. Your character. Sometimes you’re not actually behind. You’ve just spent too much time looking sideways.
