the southern lights tend to be warm tones- pink, purple etc. The northern lights are mostly blues & greens 🙂

As someone who grew up watching the northern lights, I would suggest having a deep blue sky with a sliver of greens, blues and pinks in one small layer. Northern lights don’t take up the entire sky. But good try on your first go! 🥰

It’s beautiful as usual but I was kind of expecting the inside to look how the top looked when you took it out the mold. I think it would look more magical if the colours inside were like that. (Still love it)💞

I agree with another comment that it gives acid trip more than northern lights. It’s a definite vibe, but I don’t think the one you were going for? Imo the colours are more of what makes it feel like an acid trip to me. Maybe try more blues and greens, i don’t really think that super light yellow works. Maybe bring in a bit of sparkling? If you have green glitter or yellow glitter (especially if you leave out the yellow) or small metallic flakes mixed in then at the cut it would hopefully bring a sparkle that reads as northern lights more than acid trip? Love the house, definitely a great call

Alaskan here ..I think you did really well... Maybe swirl the northern lights colors before you pour? Just an idea and put a frosty white sparkle or silver over the black before you pour the northern lights colors...
