Very happy to see Denmark’s transgressions and violations of indigenous peoples being talked more about. Here in Scandinavia we are quick to judge other countries (like the US) for their treatment of indigenous peoples but we are scarcely better ourselves.

Id argue inuits are one of the most oppressed groups. We need to be much louder about this. No amount of money is enough to compensate for what these people went through.

A lot of women couldn't have children because of that. Back then the type IUD used was for women who had given birth and not girls 12-16. A lot of women lived in pain for many years and some of them became infertile.

I have broken my wrist and had wisdom teeth removed, nothing compares to the pain of having an IUD inserted. Also It was also not compatible and I was in pain almost every day until it was removed
