@dogs.made.simple: ‼️Urgent warning for all dog owners‼️ Many of us do not know this, but your dog CANNOT play or exercise right after eating due to a risk called bloat (GDV). They need to rest for about 1 hour after eating. I learned a few years ago about what bloat was (Gastric Dilatation-Volvulus). The first time I shared about it, I got so many comments and messages from dog owners who lived it first hand. I also got many messages from vets themselves who can testify to seeing it in the ER. My heart ached for these dog owners, and I felt like it was my job to spread as much awareness about this as possible! It is way more dangerous than we think, and affects many dogs yearly!
