@ren.lifts1: the first session is not a workout. it's a reconnaissance mission, and treating it like a workout is exactly how people burn out before week two. 🤍 four machines. two sets each. light enough that you finish every set thinking you could have done more — because you could have, and that's the point. you are learning where things are and how the seats adjust. that is the entire job. sessions two and three are the same four movements. yes, again. repetition in week one is not a lack of ambition, it's how the movements stop taking up space in your head. by session three you walk in already knowing what you're doing, and that feeling is worth more than any exercise variety. the "what to expect" slide is the one i needed most. you'll be sore on day two, not day one. you'll feel like everyone can tell — they cannot. and nothing visible happens for about six weeks, so please do not use the mirror as your scoreboard in month one. twenty minutes counts. turning around at the door is the only actual failure. last slide is the whole week on one screenshot. Here is the whole 2-day plan written out, so you do not have to swipe back and forth in the gym: Day 1 — Full body ✨ Leg press, lat pulldown, chest press + goblet squat. Days 2 — + 3 ✨ Leg press, lat pulldown, chest press + seated cable row. Pick the time, not the mood. Pack the night before. Know your first exercise. Give yourself permission to leave early. You are not going to train tomorrow. You are going to find the machines. Save this so you know exactly what to do on your next session — and send it to the friend who keeps saying she wants to start. 🫶 if you're going this week — what day? #gymgirl #workoutplan #beginnerworkout #girlswholift #fitnessjourney
