@everythingeverglades: Cecile, the ruling Queen of Shark Valley and my favorite American crocodile, making a suitable entrance! Cecile is an American crocodile, considered endangered in the US. She was captured, gendered and marked down in the southern part of the Everglades National Park in Flamingo. No one knows how she found her way the 50+ miles from there to Shark Valley, though it’s theorized it may have been when water levels were high after a big storm. Lucky for us, she opted to stay and has been here roughly 10 years now. Judging by her size, she seems to be thriving!
