Uh yea they better change the stupid policy then on them being home and not getting in trouble for it. You're damned if you, damned if you don't. We also need a policy that provides immunity to parents that have to call out of work to take care of them if they aren't of a certain age to be able to stay home alone. I do keep my kids whenever they are sick and will always fight at school to make sure they can rest. But I logically understand the implications that some parents just can't either because they don't have a support system or they might get fired. 🤷🏻♀️
