@cookingcoconut: Baked pasta dishes are a favorite around the fall and winter. I love the aroma of homemade sauce as tomato and spices develop on low heat. It transports me back to my childhood, when my dad would let his sauce simmer on the stove all day. I brown my chicken sausage and cook it through in my sauce. Later I remove them and slice it into smaller pieces before adding it back for use in my cheesy baked pasta. I prefer freshly shredded mozzarella but I used the pre-shredded and it turned out wonderfully. #bakedziti #bakedpasta #pasta #pastatiktok #pastalover
