I'm a singer and I will always sing my heart out, write my heart out and outperform the others live , work with productions that will produce their hearts out ...I have no issue with a.i as far as in a.i if "allegedly" tyla used it for that girl mv I think that was appropriately used and I love that song and video and tyla however just to create a new singer with generated vocals like that of xania monet a a.i generated voice singer a while back who went viral that's a no because obviously ms Jones no shade to her used Beyonce, Jennifer hudson and K. Michelle voice as one to generate the vocals which is disgusting I'm not for it . so yeah let's not justify soulless music ... I don't give a dam if the lyrics are good ...it was baseless , no foundation and a disrespect to all real vocalist ... I love poetry ms jones is a poet but find a real singer on the come up to promote ...and I don't mind using a.i to create the production because as an independent artist it's expensive + hard finding legit producers to create custom beats so I dont mind using that if I ever need to to create the music but I'm definitely singing my heart out and butt off using the gift God gave me ..other then that everything else is fake and phone and I don't like phony . just saying smh😏

And still..any raw Ai generative material isn’t copyrightable under US copyright law which means it isn’t protected and has no clear owner, atleast for now. And typically you can’t sell something you do not own. Major labels can’t take that sort of risk…maybe one of the reasons these labels are suing Suno and then getting into bed with Suno right after. So, although they may be using Suno for reference tracks for inspiration or to write a top line to as writing tools or even to generate musical elements, they would still need to do some actual work to get a final product…ie meaningful human contribution/authorship in order to qualify for the Grammys and to be able to sell copies. This is why Ai assisted records may qualify and why fully generative Ai music does not qualify. Yes, Ai as a *tool* is more common place…but I think there are some that don’t understand what constitutes as a tool and what does not in regards to this whole Ai thing.

Facts. If you use a daw, that’s ai. If you use a plugin, that’s ai. If you’re using a computer, that’s ai. The only difference now is that ai software that engineers spend thousands of dollars on is being generated into a simple prompt in platforms like suno. So that being said, if you’re not using 100% analog gear and acoustic instruments to create the music which most of us are not anymore, you’re using ai

Not where I’m recording. This statement makes it seems like there’s no places where Ai isn’t being used. I know plenty of musicians and songwriters that don’t. I definitely don’t. Ai is fine if that’s how you want to create, but you are saying the word ‘every’ a little too much. Plenty don’t.

Ai is not the enemy. 30 years ago we record an album and the sound engineer decided to get rid of the drummer to use his new Alesis, digital drums machine, and the drummer, who happened to be my friend lose his job in that recording. Years later, we try to record something new but the prices of the studios were to expensive for the particular composer or singer. The real enemy is who abuse of the tools and the needs of the small producers. Ai is a tool, if we use correctly. I am enemy of the Ai songs that don’t use human creativity in the lyrics, but let’s be honest, Ai has given voice to the composers who dream with having their songs produced with high quality at their reach. Don’t fight Ai, teach how to use It as a tool for good not for abuse. Like any other tool.

Its way too much fun to figure out the melody, to sit in a room with my best friends and create, to go to our studios and witness great musicians in their element, true musicians love the journey and don’t want that taken away from us by the “quick convenience” of Ai. My goal is not “how fast can I make this song”. My goal is how to authentically tell my story through my best work

I don’t care what everyone else is doing , if you know the history of music in general it’s been birthed from human experience, taking out the human element is no different than buying processed food, it might taste good but it won’t taste as good as a chef will put together flavors and give you an experience you never had before. This is about money, not artistry .
