As a vtuber, one time a vtuber asked to do an art collab with me and I felt bad so I heard her out. Then the artist talked to us and gave us a $400 quote. I wanted to back out and the vtuber said she’ll pay half. And back and forth between her and the artist, the artist slipped up and said “I’m already paying half for our art”. And I’m like “wait you? How’d you know she’s paying half?” And then it clicked that SHE WAS THE ARTIST and was trying to scam me into paying $200 for her to DRAW HERSELF with me in it too.
