A Celine mini bag in 2023. It’s so pretty but it barely holds an iPhone! iPhone and keys it almost closes, let alone adding a pair of sunglasses. It’s also a very soft leather that immediately got marked and I felt terrible. So dumb.

While I can't think of a single specific item I regret buying right now, I will say that a common theme that ties most of them together is being on clearance. Something being on clearance doesn't mean it's bad, but I tend to pay more attention to the excitement of how much money I'm saving versus actually liking what I'm buying for me. I know what I like. Buy it right or buy it twice.

I regret buying the Dyson air wrap. I only use the hair dryer and brush attachments and I was doing fine with my cheaper hair dryer and revlon styling brush.

Gucci marmont in the weird nude blush colour. I wanted it forever and waited too long and by the time I bought it they were on the way out. I tried to convince myself it was classic but it really isn’t. I think if I’d gotten black I would have worn it more but on the bright side it did teach me that a quilted chain bag doesn’t fit my lifestyle and I should not drop

I saw a lady with a Goyard in Paris (it was purple) and loved it and decided it was the thing I wanted as my Paris souvenir so I went to buy one and only then learned how much it cost. BUT they had it in green (my favorite) and I had only ever seen that one (it was 2017) so I bought it. And I still love it- mostly because of the story/history behind it. But if I knew then what I know now I probably wouldn't buy it again.

Any structured leather work bag I’ve gotten. I’ve gone through like 4 to 5 and I never end up using them or liking them long-term. It turns out I don’t really like structured bags that much. And they very aren’t really cute for any other purpose than taking them to work and now I work from home so they are completely useless. I think I keep envisioning I’ll buy the right one and suddenly feel like a girl boss who has her life under control and is disciplined and successful and it’s just never come to fruition.

I regret buying clothes that didn’t flatter my skin tone or silhouette 😭😭 i have so much of them all bc i thought i could force it or find my way around it and not even once did i reach for them. I’ve always hated having to think about what clothes to put on and what would mesh well together, now i stick to my tried and trues and a few statement pieces here and there but omg what a waste of money that phase was
